Men's Study Fruits of the Spirit
During our weekly church services, we’ll be journeying through the fruit of the Spirit, which includes nine different characteristics (which we’ll cover in eight weeks) mentioned by Paul in Galatians 5:22-23. The Spirit empowers us to become people full of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. He empowers us to become the people we were made to be. In this group-based curriculum, we’re going to be digging deeper into the way Paul thinks and talks about the various characteristics the Spirit produces within us. As we venture through Colossians, Paul casts for us a vision of a church living in submission to the Spirit and bearing spiritual fruit. If we pay attention, we might just catch a glimpse of Jesus, the person we’re becoming more and more like by the power of the Spirit.
